The quick and easy way to measure cylindrical parts The Twinner is able to measure parts turned on centers or centerless
parts. The construction is modular with the standard configuration
containing one diameter module and one length module. Additional
space is available for the mounting of a microscope module, camera
module or other modules such as a camshaft module for special measurement
applications. Standard configurations require only a 110V electrical
connection for the Quadra Check display or computer display. No air
supply is required. This makes the Twinner very easy to move if necessary. The Twinner diameter and length modules are designed
so that there is constant measuring force applied to the part being
inspected. This feature provides great consistency in results between
operators. Set up masters are not required with the Twinner. They
are available for reference purposes or for routine calibration if
desired. A wide selection of accessories is available to mount and
measure different types of parts including centerless parts.
- The Twinner is a measuring system that replaces a wide
variety of hand measuring tools and dedicated fixtures.
- The Twinner is a measuring system that is designed
for measurement of production parts.
- Dimensional features such as length, diameter, run
out, groove width, taper, internal depth, internal diameters,
angles, radii, roundness and more are easily measured on the
Twinner.
- Systems are available in manual operation, semi-automatic
and fully automatic versions.
- Typical applications for the Twinner include
all types of shafts, including camshafts & crankshafts
as well as any number of turned parts.
- The Twinner is built to last and can withstand the
harshest production environments. Measurements can be carried
out right on the shop floor. No more running to the gage lab
to check
the parts.
