The most accurate linear measuring system worldwide.

The Twin Check system utilizes a HeNe laser interferometer to provide for highly accurate length measurement. The design follows the Abbe principle in full and the system accuracy is less than .15um (6 uin) + L/2000. Built in temperature and environmental sensors directly compensate for any temperature variation in the lab or with the part being measured. The Twin Check design has won the German Industrial Award for Innovation and that alone is quite an accomplishment.

The Twin Check is connected to a Heidenhain display unit which acts as the control center for the measurement system. The display has a resolution of 10 x -7 inches and is easily switched from English to metric units. Environmental conditions are displayed here and this system is easily connected to a personal computer to transmit any measured values directly into calibration software programs.

The Twin Check combines the advantages of a universal length measuring system and the HeNe laser technology. The system is designed for contact measurement of the parts and gages while the laser measures the position of the measuring head. This in combination with a laser reference beam allows absolute measurement as if in a vacuum.

When you absolutely need accuracy, you need the Twin Check.
